Operations Manager

Sentech, Inc is seeking an Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all supply chain and manufacturing processes. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of the plant from purchasing, inventory flow, production planning and manufacturing. In addition, this individual will be responsible to ensure all policies and procedures are followed. 


  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations 
  • Increase production capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards 
  • Development of processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. 
  • Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping 
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results 
  • Develop and implement strategies aligned with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus 
  • Analyze production processes, schedules, methods and other data and then provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure that the company’s manufacturing processes follow all government laws and regulations.
  • Ability to review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with future production requirements to assist management in decision making.
  • Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Manage the buying goods and services for the company
  • Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
  • Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept and which vendors to consider 
  • Establish relationships with outside process suppliers, ensure work meets technical requirements
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions 
  • Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and with the assistance of the Production Manager to recruit, manage and develop production staff 
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and enforcing plant safety procedures 
  • Address employees’ issues in a professional manner 
  • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts 
  • Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste
  • Analyze data and create reports to present to executives regarding processes
  • Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement
  • Oversee work schedules to ensure coverage
  • Manage/perform routine safety checks on equipment 


  • Proven managerial experience as a plant manager, operations manager or equivalent
  • Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) 
  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise 
  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory processes 
  • Computer & ERP/MRP Business system operation experience 
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills 
  • BS degree in Business Management or related field

Incoming Inspector

Sentech, Inc is looking for an Incoming Inspector to perform material inspection and testing of  received parts. The person for this position is part of the production team for the electro magnetic position sensors designed and manufactured by Sentech. 

Incoming Inspector Duties & Responsibilities 

The Incoming Inspector will perform assessment, documentation and organization tasks to  support the efficiency and effectiveness of Sentech’s supply chain. Their duties and  responsibilities include: 

• Inspecting incoming parts using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to  standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality 

• Checking that the received part adheres to standards and procedures and complying  with design requirements 

• Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods • Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes  and inputting data into quality database 

• Proposing improvements to the production process 

• Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training • Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration  requirements and calling for repairs 

Skills & Qualifications 

Quality Control Inspectors use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge to ensure products  are up to standards, including: 

• Good written and verbal communication skills 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Keen attention to detail 

• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications • Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers • In-depth understanding of company standards

Assembly / Production Technician

Sentech, Inc. is seeking an Assembly / Production Technician to join our Sensor Manufacturing Team. General areas of responsibility include handling semi /finished products, operating equipment; ensuring final product meets company standards.


The Assembler will be responsible for the hand soldering of surface mount and through hole components. Responsible for checking all revisions for the kits provided to them and for making all changes to the work documentation when necessary.


Major Duties:

  • Solid skill in using hand tools in electronic board assembly & repair: soldering irons, solder extractors, heat guns, etc
  • Hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components as well as the cleaning of them.
  • Assembly of Cable Harness. This includes cutting, stripping, and terminating of individual wires.
  • Assembly of small mechanical assemblies.
  • Will be responsible for checking all revisions for the kits provided to them and for making all changes to the work documentation when necessary.
  • Must follow all the safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling.
  • Attention to detail mentality and appreciation of project deadlines is essential.
  • Soldering skills, familiarity with electrical circuits
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • US citizen or Permanent resident.



  • Requires 1  year' experience in hand soldering, thru-hole and SMT.
  • Must know parts and be able to read prints.
  • Knowledge of SMT and Thru-hole components. Must be able to interpret hand written instructions and drawings.
  • Experience with J-STD and IPC610-C/D required.
  • Must be detail oriented and self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good soldering and rework skills. Lead free soldering a plus.




  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 or more years Technical Degree preferred
