Commercial Aircraft: Planes

Sentech’s Aerospace LVDT, Linear Variable Differential Transformer, and RVDT, Rotary Variable Differential Transformer, are designed to be robust and function in harsh environments. Contactless LVDT sensors are chosen due to their long operational life and high reliability in extreme operating conditions. Virtually all fly-by-wire systems have built in redundancy, single or multi-channel sensors.

Our custom designed yet cost-effective LVDT, Linear Variable Differential Transformer, and RVDT, Rotary Variable Differential Transformer, is unparalleled in the industry.  Our engineers consider the demanding applications of our customers’ needs.  Working in close collaboration with our customers to provide a solution to meet their requirements is paramount. Sentech offers superior repeatability of its LVDT’s and RVDT’s which ensures the consistent and accurate measurements over a long period of its operational life. Sentech also offers a high temperature and pressurized units to fit in many demanding applications.

Sentech’s LVDT provide absolute, linear position measurement. The RVDTs employs the same high-reliability features as the LVDT except providing high precision rotary or angular position measurements.

There are many applications throughout the fix and rotary wing where the LVDTs and RVDTs can be used to measure the positions of multiple instruments.  Our LVDTs and RVDTs are used in control surface position applications, pilot controls, and on-engine feedback.

Sentech offers AC or DC units in conformance with long-term life requirements. Our offers are in accordance with RTCA-DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.
