The HYDRASTAR^® and DC HYDRASTAR^® are inductive, non-contacting linear position transducers, specifically designed for installation into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and actuators. This design allows for virtually all of the transducer to be inside the cylinder, thus protecting it from damage or abuse.

The HYDRASTAR^® is used with a FASTAR^® signal processor, of which there are 4 different types, ranging from OEM circuit board types for installation into panels or equipment bays to packages ready to use with units including one with a digital display.

The DC HYDRASTAR^® is supplied with an integral signal processor and requires only +10 to +36 VDC to operate. The DC HYDRASTAR^® provides either 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA output.
